Natalia Colón received her Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from the Florida Institute of Technology in 2021. After receiving her certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in 2022, she relocated to Atlanta, Georgia. With experience in early intervention Autism services, Natalia was interested in applying the science of behavior to other populations in need. Adopting a rescue dog (pictured right) in the summer of 2023 opened her eyes to the world of dog training. BehavioRx LLC was then founded in September of 2023.

BehavioRx currently offers behavior based intervention methods primarily for canines and their families based in Dallas/Fort-Worth, TX and the surrounding areas. BehavioRx aims to serve more populations in the future.

Applied behavior analysis (ABA) is the use of the natural science of behavior in clinical settings to produce socially valid and lasting behavior change by manipulating aspects of the environment. In short, ABA is the practice of changing the environment to produce a specific behavior.
Just as with any other science, there will be bad actors. Because one doctor is sued for medical malpractice does not mean you will never see another doctor again, right? It just means you will be more diligent to find a person with the right background, compassion, and experience that can appropriately support you. ABA is not inherently abusive, but its' tools can be used in the wrong way, as with anything else in the world. Behavior analysis is a science that everybody makes use of; they just aren't aware of it! Overall, methods used to teach skills and replace inappropriate behaviors are reinforcement based first. Client assent is priority for all treatment methods used.
Our training sessions typically last 1 hour, but can be customized to fit the needs of you and your family.
